Pre-designed Ceremony Script #1

• The Calling of the Conch Shell  - The conch shell is blown to open the ceremony.  Michaela will open ceremony with the conch and escort in or you can choose for her to blow conch in place.

• Hawaiian Chant - The chant of Aloha, of love.

• The Greeting - The Hawaiian word for love is Aloha.

• Blessing of the Rings and Couple - Hawaiian chant & pa’a kai (sea salt).

• Ohe Hana Ihu, ancient Hawaiian Flute - Sweet sound of the flute, a tranquil moment.

• Lokahi (harmony) Ceremony - Using the Hawaiian Koa Paddle (optional)

• Exchange your Lei of Love - In Hawaii, we exchange leis as a symbol of our love.

YOU CAN ADD A FEW HAWAIIAN TOUCHES

Choose two or three traditions from this list or add a family tradition. Not sure which to choose? Michaela would be happy to guide you. She will let you know where it will fit perfectly in your script.  You can also include family traditions if you prefer. The highlighted numbers are beautiful touches that would make your ceremony last around 15 minutes.

1. The Conch Shell  - The conch shell is blown four times to open the ceremony.  To escort or blow in place.

2. Hawaiian Chant - The chant of Aloha, of love.

3. Ohe Hana Ihu, ancient Hawaiian Flute - Sweet sound of the flute, a tranquil moment.

4. Blessing of the Rings - Rings are placed in a koa bowl to be cleansed.

5. Exchange your Lei of Love - In Hawaii, we exchange leis as a symbol of our love.

6. ​The Honi - Exchange of Ha and Mana, Ha (amazing experience) - Sacred Hawaiian gift of love.

7. Lokahi (harmony) Ceremony - Hawaiian Koa Paddle. Leis are draped over the paddle and hands. 

8. Couples Blessing - The couple adds a few sprinkles of Hawaiian salt into the water bowl.  Michaela performs a sacred blessing with a Hawaiian chant while sprinkling the salt water using a ti leaf.

9. Kukui Ceremony - Unity Ceremony - ​Kukui Reading, Light of Love "Two Become One" the Unity Blessing.

10. Kapa Ceremony - Fabric wrapping to bind the couple as one.

IF THE LOCATION IS HELD AT A PUBLIC BEACH, PLEASE ADD $60.00 FOR THE BEACH PERMIT (INSURANCE INCLUDED).

• Beach Locations Assistance - Beaches on the State of Hawaii Wiki Permits only.  Choice of two locations.

• State of Hawaii Wiki Beach Permit - If needed.

• Required Liability Insurance is required by the State of Hawaii.

• Script sent to you for review and editing.

• Two Fresh Flower Leis - Lei Upgrades Available

• Copy of Finalized License Emailed to you for your records. 

• Copy of the Marriage License, once processed by the State of Hawaii, sent to you. 

       Takes 3-4 days following the finalized process.  This really helps when there is a name change.
